The HAPAG Kalinga Program
Was established to utilize a 300 sqm idle company property to grow vegetables and other high-value root crops in support of food security. A volunteer team was organized to develop the area into an urban garden using both traditional farming and hydroponic methods.

PROGRAM III:
FOOD SECURITY – GOALS FOR 2026
“Seeds of Hope” Community Urban Garden
Purpose: To promote sustainable food production in schools and communities.
Activities & Targets:
- Establish school or community vegetable gardens
- Conduct training on hydroponics and traditional gardening with composting
- Organize harvest-sharing activities for feeding and family use
- Integrate devotional reflections under the theme “Planting Faith, Growing Hope”
- Expand to 3 resource-partners and 5 beneficiary schools/communities by next year
- Aim for a 30% increase in vegetable yield for feeding and family-sharing initiatives
“Nutri-Scholars” Feeding Program
Purpose: To provide nutritious meals that support learning and wellness.
Regular feeding sessions for scholars
Nutrition awareness and education for parents
