Jerry R. Tugade was known for his unique combination of technical competence and entrepreneurial passion. This balance enabled him to champion customized, flexible solutions and innovations that propelled Coolaire to become one of the country’s leading industry players. Beyond business, he was actively involved in various business and civic organizations, including the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines, and the Rotary Club of San Francisco del Monte. He was also a strong advocate of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
A deeply religious man, Jerry believed that faith finds its true meaning through action. He was actively involved in local Church and diocesan activities, as well as fraternal organizations such as the Knights of Columbus.
