Coolaire Supports PH’s First SDG Effectiveness Summit
On September 11, 2025, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), through its SDG Committee, held the first-ever SDG Effectiveness Summit at Dusit Thani Manila. The event gathered high-level UN officials, prominent business leaders, government officials, representatives of foreign embassies, changemakers, and public-private stakeholders to accelerate the country’s commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development – or the UN SDGs.
The discussions highlighted the vital role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs)—which make up 70% of PCCI’s membership—in driving sustainable growth. Key insights focused on addressing systemic challenges such as financing gaps, climate shocks, economic risks, and political hurdles, and stressed the importance of institutional partnerships affirmed by showcasing best practices across regions and innovations in green industries.
