A fleet of Class 3 modern PUVs air conditioned by Coolaire has arrived in Leyte and will now be available for the Palompon-Ormnoc route for the comfort of all commuters. The launching ceremony took place on July 14, 2022, with officers Coolaire, Isuzu Philippines, and Isuzu Cebu leading the turn over to Leyte Transport Cooperative.
The modernization of the public utility jeepney was a critical component of the President Rodrigo Duterte’s flagship project, the PUV Modernization Program (PUVMP).
